Tracey Fitzgerald

Tracey Fitzgerald is a Senior Director with Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Services Group located in Chicago. Tracey is a highly regarded commercial real estate executive veteran with extensive deal-making experience as both a broker and retailer.

After graduating from Indiana University, Tracey joined Next Realty, LLC as Director of Leasing and was responsible for managing their entire portfolio, totaling approximately 2 million square feet nationwide. In the almost 8 years she was there she provided over $150 million in combined lease value to the firm.

Most recently prior to joining C&W, Tracey helped grow the Potbelly Corporation since 2012 where she was initially tasked with all store growth throughout Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Ohio. After successfully building the largest and most profitable store pipeline in Potbelly’s history, Tracey was promoted to run Potbelly’s entire real estate department. Tracey lead her team and in development and management of stores across 28 markets and over 500 locations. Tracey is responsible for Potbelly’s growth of over 200 new stores and is personally credited with mandating a prioritization on drive-thru locations increasing the total count during her tenure from four stores to more than 60 today.

Tracey also actively participates as an expert panelist and consultant on retail food expansion.
